A tweet for an iced tea can



The video above shows the works of what may be the first vending machine of the world that changes tweets for products.

It was created by BOS, an iced tea vendor from South Africa.

It is very simple, you just need to be close to one of these machines, then you tweet #BOStweet4T. The central identifies your tweet and checks your position using Twitter Geolocation (that must be activated). If there is a machine that matches the location of your tweet, the central tell the machine that is close to you to give you a can.

It is interesting to think how this kind of initiative promotes a brand in a way that is completely different than any other traditional method would, no?
