Why the old games... #11

To you who complains I write too much every time, today you gonna be happy. I have only 2 things to say.

The first one is that the game of the webcomic is Super Mario 64, one of the launch games of the Nintendo 64, launched in 1964... I mean, 1996 *cof* not funny *cof*. It’s been 15 years already that the platform games were never the same again.

The second thing is that I noticed that about the hat watching my nephew playing the game via Wii’s Virtual Console.

It was funny to explain to him what was the Nintendo 64, but even more funny was me trying to explain the spaceship shaped controller in a way I could convince him that it was very comfortable and worked very well.

By the way, why any other console received buttons in the back of the controller, right beneath the fingers? I can see the B of the Wiimote has some resemblance, just like the C and Z of the nunchuck, but it’s not the same. The precision that button right beneath the analog had was very good.

One very possible theory is that maybe I’m the only one who liked that button. Who knows? hahaha.
